It suits collectors of Dantean iconography and fans of the associated animated films. However, those expecting traditional fiction, ghost stories, or true crime details from a horror bookshop shelf will find it lacking in literary substance. It is a niche product for visual enthusiasts rather than general horror readers, judging by its placement among horror fiction despite its artistic focus.
