The concept of a 'perfect' victim intriguingly subverts standard slasher tropes, suggesting a psychological depth rather than simple jump scares. However, readers seeking detailed plot outlines or extensive world-building will likely find the novella lacking in substance. It suits those who prefer mood over mechanics and are willing to fill in narrative gaps with their own imagination. The holiday theme adds a layer of ironic contrast to the horror, though the lack of specific details makes it hard to recommend without reservation.
