Hellifax

Keith C. Blackmore returns with Hellifax, the third entry in his Mountain Man series. This gritty horror thriller follows a lone survivor hunting a serial killer known as Tenner through a frozen landscape overrun by undead hordes. The narrative presents a world where half-frozen deadheads choke the avenues and infected vermin rise from sewer labyrinths to hunt for warm flesh. Blackmore, an established author in the supernatural fiction genre, constructs a tense atmosphere of survival against overwhelming odds. The story focuses on a handful of survivors struggling to escape a world overrun with zombies. The protagonist must contend with these environmental horrors and the specific threat of Tenner before the situation deteriorates further. This book suits readers who enjoy intense, atmospheric horror thrillers set in post-apocalyptic scenarios. It may not appeal to those seeking lighthearted supernatural tales or extensive character development over plot-driven action. Fans of HBO's The Last of Us will find this narrative familiar in its tone and setting. The novel draws on traditions of zombie fiction and gothic horror, presenting a stark, icy world where humanity is on the brink of extinction. Blackmore’s prose delivers a visceral experience for those who appreciate detailed depictions of urban decay and survival against monstrous foes.
