Arrived quickly and well packaged. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Would buy from this store again.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn.
Needed a good scare and got one. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.
