I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. The cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.

Grabbed it for a long flight. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Great value for what you get.
A friend from my book club recommended it. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Happy enough with the purchase.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. One of my better finds this year.
