But there's no moon outside. Spaceships are chasing him. He's drinking too much, and on top of everything else, he can't stop imagining his fellow coworker, Christine, naked. Horror desk

Buick Cannon delivers a refreshing twist on the werewolf genre by prioritizing humor over horror. The narrative effectively utilizes the absurdity of a bookstore owner facing cosmic chaos to create a distinctively wacky tone. While it lacks the atmospheric dread typical of gothic fiction, its strength lies in its commitment to slapstick comedy and bizarre plot developments. This approach suits readers who enjoy paranormal mysteries with a comedic edge or those looking for light entertainment rather than intense scares. The inclusion of bonus tales adds value for fans of short-form horror-comedy. Although it diverges significantly from traditional cosmic horror expectations, the book succeeds in its goal to entertain through sheer zaniness and unexpected supernatural mishaps.
