📝 Description: Broken Ridge
Two homeless brothers thought survival meant stealing food, until they were sent to Brokenridge Juvenile Center. Cold staff, brutal rules, and whispers of disappearances on the fourth floor turn the place into a nightmare. With the help of two older boys, they uncover a terrifying secret: something in Brokenridge is alive, and it doesn't want them to leave. As they plan a desperate escape, the line between hunter and hunted blurs. One sacrifice, one horrifying encounter, and a relentless creature ensure that survival comes at a cost... Escape isn't the end. It's only the beginning.

Dawson Tamez’s Broken Ridge plunges readers into a bleak, atmospheric descent within the grim confines of the Brokenridge Juvenile Center. Following two brothers striving to outlast institutional cruelty, the narrative builds a suffocating sense of dread around the mysterious fourth floor and the predatory entity lurking within its walls. Balancing a desperate escape attempt with a chilling supernatural threat, this taut horror novel trades cheap shocks for a sustained, claustrophobic atmosphere. It is a grim, unflinching survival story that will particularly resonate with fans of institutional horror and creature features who enjoy tense, character-driven nightmares where safety is never guaranteed.
