Brody and the Living Dead

Deputy Brody Morgan has spent his career answering strange calls across the lonely roads of Sierra Abajo County, but nothing has prepared him for dead men walking out of the desert scrub, a growing wall of radio static, and a hidden force strong enough to wake every buried body within its reach. As the nightmare spreads toward Alma and Presidio, Brody finds help where he least expects it: a busload of comic fans stranded on the highway, a steady-handed organizer named Valerie Ocean, a young man in homemade armor, small-town volunteers, and Walt Kenny, an old ham radio operator whose ignored obsession may be the key to stopping the signal. The dead are walking. The radios are failing. And before morning comes, Brody Morgan will have to decide where to stand when the impossible rises from the ground.
