Yeast: A Whimsical Tale of Horror

A distant cataclysmic supernova eons ago initiates devastating cosmic events that lead to an incident on Earth of fateful proportions: the enigmatic appearance of a horrific carnivorous fungal entity. An intensive search for palliative treatments, cures or antidotes to control the deadly pestilence is futile. World-renowned scientist, Pierre Champignon, in a valiant attempt to isolate and study the myco-microbe, puts his life in jeopardy when he comes in contact with the strange yeastoid. Are his resolute laboratory investigations too late? Is there no hope for mankind?
