Wanted something for October and it delivered. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. The font runs small in this edition. Still worth having on the shelf.
Was skeptical at first. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Would buy from this store again.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Solid, if not essential.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Shipping was quick too.
