Nabu Press released this fourth volume in March 2010, carrying the ISBN 9781147401592. The publisher acknowledges that the reproduction process introduced specific visual defects. ⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Good, with the caveats above.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. The binding held up to being carried around for a week.
Got it as a gift for a friend who loves the genre. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Print is comfortable for late-night reading.
