The Woebegones: Mary

A Noel Biddy presents Mary in The Woebegones series as a figure defined by glamour and divine sophistication. She operates under the conviction that her purity holds the power to restore peace to the world. As she pursues the role of pageant Queen, her faith undergoes severe testing alongside her character. The narrative follows her journey into the heart of darkness where she discovers her true strength. The narrative structure emphasizes her internal conflict as she navigates the brink of her own beliefs. Biddy’s work invites readers to consider the darker implications of purity and power in a supernatural context.
