📝 Description: The Whispering Saint
Carrie Jo's Dreams Take a Darker Turn Can She Reach Across Time to Help Bridget Escape an Evil Entity? Idlewood Plantation has been a paranormal enthusiast's dream, but for historian Carrie Jo, it's anything but pleasant. Another Ferguson child calls out to her from beyond the grave, and this time a local legend is involved. The discovery of the Ouroborus Grimoire heightens the supernatural activity, and the ghosts of Idlewood aren't happy about it. Rachel and Angus work through trust issues while Henri and Detra Ann make a surprise announcement. Together with Carrie Jo and Ashland, the team once again explores Idlewood to find the grimoire and set Bridget free, at last.

Listeners uninterested in romantic subplots or lengthy character development may find the focus on trust issues and surprise announcements tedious. It lacks the visceral intensity of cosmic horror or the realism of true crime, instead opting for a gentler, mystery-driven approach to the ghost story shelf. The value lies entirely in its continuity for existing fans who wish to see how the team resolves their internal struggles while battling external paranormal threats at the plantation.
