First order from this shop. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Well worth it.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Glad I finally picked this up.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Shipping was quick too.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Happy enough with the purchase.
