I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Still worth having on the shelf.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn.
First order from this shop. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Shipping was quick too.
First order from this shop. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The font runs small in this edition. Still worth having on the shelf.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Great value for what you get.
