⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. A keeper.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. The font runs small in this edition. Still worth having on the shelf.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. A keeper.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Highly recommend.
