RVH - Sleeping Sun

Lucia Guglielminetti presents a continuation of the RVH series in Sleeping Sun. The narrative resumes three years after the previous events, focusing on the vampire Raistan. He faces a crisis when the Andrew family suffers a severe car accident. The children are left alone and fight for their survival. Raistan must decide whether to save them by turning them into vampires or letting them live as humans, if they survive at all. The story examines the tension between immortality and normal life. It asks what becomes of Ellie and whether she will become Raistan’s Blood Companion. The text offers a view into both vampire society and the human world of RVH. Guglielminetti writes this installment for fans of supernatural fiction who follow the established lore. Readers seeking standalone horror novels may find the continuity confusing. Those invested in the long-term development of Raistan and his adopted family will find the emotional stakes clear. The narrative does not shy away from the consequences of supernatural intervention. It explores the weight of choice when life hangs in the balance. The author frames the vampire mythos through personal relationships rather than grand battles. This approach grounds the fantasy elements in immediate human tragedy. The book serves as a bridge between the past conflicts and future alliances within the series.
