Reader rating
This release excels in building a recognizable yet disturbing soundscape, prioritizing mood over closure. It effectively weaves horror and thriller aspects to explore complex family relations without relying on typical character development. The audio format enhances the experience by allowing listeners to immerse themselves in the ongoing discomfort at their own pace. It suits fans of gothic fiction and psychological horror who appreciate intensity and tension.
