When rancher William Boone finds the mutilated remains of his neighbor's steer, he assumes it's the work of hungry coyotes. When a second carcass turns up, he knows something isn't right. When the bodies start appearing, he realizes the nightmare has already begun. They are fast. They are relentless. And they are always hungry. Escaped from a secret facility, a pack of savage prehistoric predators has been unleashed into the farmlands of Eastland County. Their biology drives them with a terrifying need to feed-each creature must consume three times its body weight every twenty-four hours or die. Now the ranchlands have become their hunting ground.
