Wanted something for October and it delivered. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Still worth having on the shelf.
First order from this shop. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Still worth having on the shelf.
