Reader rating
Pieter Becker delivers a raw, unapologetic entry into the extreme horror landscape, focusing squarely on survival and immediate physical danger. The narrative effectively blurs the line between film production and lethal reality, creating a tense, claustrophobic environment for its student protagonists. While it lacks literary depth or complex character development, it succeeds in its goal of providing visceral thrills through graphic violence and mature themes. This work is best suited for readers who enjoy explicit content and the classic slasher dynamic of hunters versus hunted. It offers a straightforward, intense experience for those willing to engage with its brutal tone without expecting nuanced psychological exploration or gentle storytelling elements.
