📝 Description: Lightwarriors

Brian L Jackson presents a narrative centered on Charlie MacLeod, a young woman born with the terrifying ability to ignite her surroundings. This innate power is neither desired nor easily managed by its host. She finds refuge with David and Catherine McAuliff, a couple who possess comparable god-like abilities but yearn for an ordinary existence. Their attempt at normalcy is shattered when external forces intervene. The plot accelerates as government agencies take notice of Charlie’s potential. The National Security Agency marks her for termination, forcing her into a dangerous flight. This pursuit introduces a more sinister threat that views her not as a person, but as a resource to be exploited for dark purposes. Jackson structures the story around this escalating conflict between those who wish to destroy her and those who wish to use her. This title suits readers interested in supernatural fiction where personal power becomes a liability rather than an asset. It appeals to fans of gothic horror elements blended with modern thriller pacing. Those seeking gentle romance or purely historical settings may find the tone too intense. The narrative focuses on survival against overwhelming odds, drawing on traditions of the hunted protagonist and the burden of extraordinary gifts in a world that fears them.
