Invasion of the Killer Tapeworms
A soldier uncovers a deadly parasite conspiracy after his wife receives a warning.
The plot centers on Captain John Harrison and his squad as they hunt parasites killing humans. Official sources claim the threat is gone, but a stranger insists the tapeworms are highly active. This individual holds key information about the perpetrators behind the infestation. When Harrison locates the source, he finds them dead. The situation escalates into a broader cover-up that endangers everyone. Parker constructs a narrative where military precision clashes with a hidden biological threat. The story does not offer historical context or real-world parasite studies. It remains focused on the immediate danger and the protagonist's investigation. The tone is serious and driven by the urgency of the threat.
This 2013 publication by T Allen Parker sits within the tradition of American military thrillers that incorporate supernatural or biological horror elements. It reflects a period interest in rogue agents and hidden dangers threatening national security from within.
