HASRAD Investigative Reporter

Franklyn Searight presents a narrative centered on Alan Hasrad, an investigative reporter with a unique personal stake in his work. He targets dark legends and malicious beings originating from the stars, which hide in remote corners of the world. His mission is to uncover these entities and destroy them before they awaken to reclaim the earth. This drive stems from his lineage as a direct descendant of Abdul Alhazred, known as the mad poet of Sanaa. The book explores the intersection of journalism and supernatural horror. It draws on gothic traditions by focusing on ancient, star-born threats rather than modern crimes. The story relies on the legacy of Alhazred to ground its fantastical elements in a specific literary history. This approach appeals to readers who enjoy cosmic horror and genealogical mysteries. Those seeking straightforward police procedurals or contemporary thrillers may find the focus on legendary entities less engaging. Searight structures the tale around Hasrad’s relentless pursuit of these hidden dangers. The narrative does not shy away from the weight of ancestral duty. It connects the present-day investigator to a past defined by madness and forbidden knowledge. The tone remains serious, reflecting the gravity of the threat posed by these star-born beings. The story concludes with the ongoing struggle against forces that seek to undo humanity.
