EXTINCT - Terror Crab: A Prehistoric Deep Sea Monster Survival Thriller

Opening weekend just became a feeding frenzy. The resort island of Crescent Point is primed for the biggest tourist weekend of the summer. But when a deep-channel dredging crew punches into a sealed subterranean marsh, they unlock a biological vault that has been closed for 250 million years. Something ancient has been waiting in the dark. Fast, heavily armored, and driven by an insatiable hunger, an apex predator begins colonizing the coast. Drawn inland by the hum of the town's mechanical infrastructure and the footsteps of forty thousand vacationers, the swarm spreads through flooded storm drains and hotel swimming pools. When a severe coastal storm hits, cutting off the causeway bridge and plunging the island into darkness, the boardwalk becomes a trap. To prevent a total slaughter, marine biologist Dr. Mara Voss and local charter captain Eli Mercer must descend into the labyrinth of flooded tunnels beneath the town to destroy the breeding nest. They survived extinction. Now they want the island.
