First order from this shop. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Still worth having on the shelf.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Definitely recommend.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Would buy from this store again.
A friend from my book club recommended it. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
