Been meaning to get this one for a while. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The font runs small in this edition.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. A keeper.
