First order from this shop. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. The cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Happy enough with the purchase.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Definitely recommend.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Well worth it.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Already eyeing my next order.
