📝 Description: Ash

Cg Blade presents Ash, a novel set in Peacedale, R. I., where residents flee after gruesome murders erupt on New Year's Day, 2098. The killings spread globally, ignoring race, creed, color, and status. A team of ghost debunkers attempts to find answers before more victims are sliced, diced, and broiled. The narrative turns the Wicca community upside down, drawing on occult, witch, and werewolf traditions from lore spread throughout the ages. Blade qualifies as a writer who creates an homage to every such movie, novel, and tale. The book is rated H for Horror and restricted R. It requires readers to download an Ash Waiver of Liability before reading, as it is a highly charged psychoactive novel. This work suits those interested in supernatural fiction and occult themes. It does not suit readers who cannot handle graphic violence or intense horror content. The story focuses on the panic that follows the initial events in Rhode Island. The global spread of the killings suggests no one is safe. The investigation by ghost debunkers drives the plot forward. The dedication to souls wrongly persecuted during the 17th-century witch trials and beyond adds historical weight to the supernatural elements. The novel operates as a tribute to past horror genres while presenting a new, terrifying scenario for its characters.

Blade delivers a global horror thriller that eschews simple supernatural explanations for a complex mystery rooted in historical occult traditions. The narrative effectively builds tension through the aftermath of gruesome New Year's Day murders, expanding from Rhode Island to a worldwide crisis. While the premise pays homage to classic horror films and literature, the execution focuses on the psychological impact of mass panic and violence. The book is best suited for veteran horror readers who can handle extreme graphic content and mature themes. It succeeds in creating an atmosphere of dread through its dedication to lore and historical weight. However, the requirement of a liability waiver signals its intense nature, making it unsuitable for those sensitive to violence or younger audiences.
