⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
This has been on my wishlist for months. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes.
A friend from my book club recommended it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little.
Needed a good scare and got one. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes. Happy enough with the purchase.
