Anime Immonde
Three lives collide amid demonic possession experiments in Italy.
The narrative structure relies on the intersection of three separate existences. A fugitive man, a woman with strange social ties, and a lonely detective all face consequences that extend beyond their personal failures. The setting shifts between Sardinia and Lombardy, providing a realistic texture to the supernatural events. A specific group of exorcists drives the horror elements by experimenting on the possessed rather than healing them. This approach creates a vortex of terror and pain. Each character maintains good reasons for their choices, even as they nurture their inner demons. The story demands attention to the psychological state of its protagonists as much as the external threats they face.
The work is set in Sardinia and Lombardy, using daily reality as a reference point for the horror. It draws on Italian Catholic traditions through the lens of a deviant sect, blending regional geography with supernatural fiction elements typical of modern gothic storytelling.
