A Great + Terrible Revival

In 1891, the Dark Reverend came to a small town in East Texas, and prophesied an earthquake that would swallow every living creature. Days after his final sermon, the earth shook violently, but the town remained standing. A massive crack appeared in the ground and devotees filled with holy fervor felt compelled to throw themselves into its depths, never to crawl back out. Then, the Dark Reverend disappeared. One hundred years later, he has returned, promising catastrophe seventy times seven of what was done before. Except this time, he has a cult of zealots waiting for him, led by the corrupt prophet Hezekiah, whom the people call "Chariot". The coming of the Dark Reverend will cleanse the land with blood. Those who resist his message will burn in both this world and the next, unless they can find a savior amongst their own to face him.
