Needed a good scare and got one. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. Shipping was quick too.
Was skeptical at first. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. One of my better finds this year.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Shipping was quick too.
