It clearly does not suit readers seeking genuine terror, complex psychological depth, or traditional gothic atmosphere. While it may appeal to those wanting a break from serious horror, it lacks the substance for those craving detailed plot development or literary merit. It is best viewed as a novelty item rather than a substantial contribution to the genre. Readers expecting genuine horror will be disappointed by the comedic intent.
