There are bad dates, dates from hell, and then there's THIS date... After months of missed opportunities and conflicting schedules, the newest deputy in Amana, John Hart, has finally asked Jane Doe out on a date! There... might be a catch... or two... Deputy Hart, serving as security for the reality tv show, Spectre Speakers, is hoping that the fear and excitement of a date in a haunted house will translate to something more than just friends. Jane, on the other hand, is just hoping for a pleasant date, despite the terror that is Halloween. The makers of Spectre Speakers, however, are hoping for ratings gold for their special Halloween episode inside a haunted mansion notorious for strange accidents and disappearances. What was supposed to be a mildly adventurous date in a haunted house soon turns into a life-or-death struggle between Jane's friends, both new and old, and a psychotic ghost on his home turf. Can Jane guide this motley cast of reality tv show unbelievers to safety, preferably without dying herself?
