⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Was skeptical at first. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Would buy from this store again.
Was skeptical at first. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. Well worth it.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Definitely recommend.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
