📝 Description: Always
At eight years old, something called to horror writer Kellian Lund. A secret. A magic girl. A sister. A friend to a child that had no one else. She made him promise to care for him always as long as he gave himself completely when the time came. Haunted in his adulthood after decades of running, time is running out and Kellian and his lovers Matt and Poppy have to make a choice... Does the fate of one man matter over the safety of the world around them?

Consequently, this assessment relies heavily on its placement in the paranormal shelf rather than textual evidence of prose quality or narrative depth. While the premise of a childhood pact haunting adulthood is intriguing, the lack of concrete hooks makes it difficult to judge the execution. It may suit readers seeking high-concept supernatural dramas over tight thriller pacing. The tone appears serious and weighty, targeting adults rather than young audiences.
